Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. Born in Phoenix Arizona, USA on July 16, 1991. She was Victoria Justice's guest on Victorious, in 2012. She made her acting debut in 2009. Shipp made her acting debut in a small role in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. The third episode of Nickelodeon's mysterious teen drama House of Anubis, Shipp played the character of KT rush. Shipp gained attention in 2014 when she played Dani Raymond as the sequel to Drumline: A New Beat on VH1 and Aaliyah which was the principal role on Lifetime's Aaliyah: A Princess of R&B. Shipp performed the song in her final role. Next, she played Ice Cube's wife Kimberly Woodruff on the biographical film Straight Outta Compton that chronicled N.W.A's career. She also co-starred with Bryan Singer in the superhero movie X-Men: Apocalypse, as Ororo Murrell/Storm, a weather-controlling mutation previously portrayed Halle Berry. In 2018, she appeared as a character in Love Simon with Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr., as well as Dude featuring Kathryn Prescott & Lucy Hale. Both films were high school comedies. Her brother is named James. She was the lead character Danielle Dani Raymond in the 2014 TV film Drumline: A New Beat. Alexandra Ruth Shipp born 16 July 1991, is a famous American actress and singer/songwriter who became famous for playing real-life singer Aaliyah as well as Kimberly Woodruff respectively in Straight Outta Compton and Aaliyah the Princess of R&B on Lifetime.
